Anwyra writes you an invented life. Most of what the app knows is about a character who does not exist. This page says plainly what we hold about you, where it lives, and how to remove it.

The short version. We keep your sign-in, your invented character, and the chapters you have read. We do not run ads, we do not use analytics or tracking software of any kind, we never sell anything to anyone, and we do not read your contacts. A photo you pick as an avatar never leaves your phone.

1. Who is responsible

Anwyra is operated by the developer of the app. For any question about this policy or your data, write to privacy@anwyra.com. We answer within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

What we never collect

3. Who else sees anything

Google (Firebase)

Sign-in, the database, the server functions and notifications run on Google Firebase. The database is located in the European Union. Google processes this data on our instructions.

Anthropic (the model that writes)

Each chapter is written by a language model. To write it, we send the model what the story needs to stay consistent: your character's invented details — name, age, trade, city, family, what happened in earlier chapters. Your email address and account identifier are never sent. The model provider does not use this material to train its models.

Cloudflare

The illustrations, portraits and gift images are served from cdn.anwyra.com. Loading an image tells Cloudflare your IP address, as loading any image on the internet does. No account data goes with it.

Apple and Google (payments)

Payments are handled entirely by the App Store and Google Play. We never see your card. We receive only a receipt confirming that a purchase happened.

4. What other people see

Nobody reads your chapters. Ever. They are not shown to other users, not published, and not used as examples.

What another person can see is the profile of your character: the invented name, age, trade, city and portrait, plus how many chapters that character has lived. Friends also see when your character has a life event — a wedding, a move, a loss — as a single line, without the text of the chapter.

If you switch on crossings, your character's country, trade and invented name may be offered to another reader so that the two characters can meet inside a scene. This is off unless you turn it on, and you can turn it off at any moment in Settings.

6. Deleting everything

Settings → My account → Delete account. This removes your account and the data attached to it. You do not need to write to us or explain anything; the button is in the app on purpose.

If you cannot reach the button — a lost phone, for instance — write to privacy@anwyra.com from the address you signed up with, and we will do it for you.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to a copy of your data, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict how it is used, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Write to privacy@anwyra.com and we will do it. There is no charge and no form to fill in.

8. Children

Anwyra is not for children. The life it writes includes adult subjects — illness, divorce, loss, war, prison. You must be 16 or older to use it, or older where your country requires it. We do not knowingly hold data about anyone younger; if we learn that we do, we delete it.

9. Changes to this page

If we change anything that matters, the date at the top changes and the app tells you the next time you open it. We will not quietly widen what we collect.
